Fish is a product that is easily decay, so that as well as any treatment that did not keep the fish kept fresh, but the treatment do serve to hinder the process of decay so that the fish can be kept as long as possible in good condition. After the fish caught must be treated well and very carefully which is then input into the hold to be stored to keep them fresh until the stage of unloading at the port.

The catch is abundant fishing often worthless if rotten fish caught prior to the fish auction. Thus the required cooling system in a fishing boat. Kabanyakan fishermen products utilizing ice as the cooling medium. Of course, it has many drawbacks. Among them are easy to melt ice cubes makes cooling less effective (Soemartojo et al, 2014).

Along with technological developments, emerging a cooling system RSW (Refrigereted Sea Water). Which at proficiency level system is very effective in its use. No need takes the ice cubes in a large amount of land, but rather take advantage of the direct cooling water pumped from the sea. System Refrigerated Sea Water (RSW) is a technology of handling the catch specially designed, installed as a place to accommodate fish / hold the vessel is equipped with a set of machines so that the fish caught, especially certain kinds of fish that have economic value can be sustained quality (Heru, 2013).
